I'll Keep You Safe (Abused!Reader x Russia)

You were sick of this. You were always pushed around by your abusive boyfriend, (bf/n). You brushed a piece of (h/c) hair out of your face as you tended to a long cut on your forearm from his most recent attack.

You needed out. You needed out badly.

After you finished dressing your wound, you walked out of your bathroom. Before you could even get two steps away from the doorway, there was (bf/n), grinning like the madman he was.

"Oh _____~" he said in a sing-song voice. "I have something for you."

You flinched.

"W-what is it?" You stuttered

(Bf/n) smirked. "Oh, you know, a gift from that commie friend of yours." He spat as he threw a box at you and walked off.

You hastily took the box and opened it. It was a matryoshka doll representing you. It had your (h/l) (h/c) hair, you (s/c) skin, and (e/c) eyes. It even had on your favorite outfit!

A small smile graced your lips as you looked over the small doll. Seeing a folded piece of paper,you picked it up and read it.


'Dear _____,
I'll be back from my stay in Russia on (today's date). I hope you've been doing well without me. I will visit you as soon as I am back. Goodbye, _____.

You smiled at the note from Ivan, but you quickly frowned. The day he was supposed to be back was today!

Your thoughts were cut short by (bf/n) ripping the note from your hands.

"I think that's enough time to read a fucking note, _____" He sneered. "Why aren't you fast enough?"

You blinked slowly. "It's just a note (bf/n)....wh-" you were cut off by him hitting you across the face.

"Don't you fucking talk back to me you bitch!" He ordered.

You cowered back. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to.." You whispered.

(Bf/n) advanced towards you. "What was that?" He asked menacingly.

"I said I was sorry." You said louder than before.

"Like hell you are!" He said and hit you over and over again.

"S-Stop it, (bf/n)!" You yelled

I was standing on _____'s porch when I heard _____ scream in pain. My eyes widened as I opened the door and ran into the house to try and find her.

"_____?" I called out, worried.

I kept hearing cries of pain come from upstairs. I ran as quick as I could upstairs and opened the door that the sounds were coming from.

I saw _____ being kicked repeatedly by her boyfriend. I narrowed my eyes and charged at him.

"Leave her alone!" I yelled at him and pushed him off of her. She had passed out soon after.

He looked at me. "So? What if I don't?" He said cockily.

I gave a menacing smile. "I'll kill you."

He faltered after I said that. "Whatever...take the dumb bitch....she was boring anyways..." He scoffed.

I glared at him and gathered _____ in my arms.

"If I ever find you near her again I will kill you." I warned as I left the room with an unconscious _____.

(Bf/n) shrugged. "Whatever.." He said as I walked downstairs.


I chuckled and walked outside. I set _____ in the backseat of my car and got in the driver's seat. I looked at _____ once more before I drove to the hospital.

You woke up in an stark white room in a bed. Confused, you sat up in the bed and jumped when you heard a familiar voice chuckle.

"Careful _____..." The person said as they walked over to you.

You looked at the person. It was Ivan.

"Where am I?" You asked softly.

"You're at the hospital _____.." Ivan said, a sad note showing in his voice.

"It was that bad..?" You asked.

Ivan nodded. "Da..you had a few broken ribs and your head was split.." He said

You looked down in your lap as you felt your head. Sure enough, there were stitches.

"How long do I have to stay?.." You asked.

He looked at you. "They said you could leave when you woke up, although, you may have to get a few tests done."

You nodded. "Alright.." You said as you swung your legs off of the bed and stood up. You leaned onto Ivan's arm as you walked with him to the reception desk.

"I am checking _____ ________ out of the hospital." Ivan said to the receptionist.

The lady nodded. "Alright. She'll have to go through a test or two before she leaves though.." She said

The lady typed a few things into a computer before looking back at us. "You may sit down while you wait for Dr. Tennant." She informed.

You and Ivan nodded before walking over to the waiting room and sitting down.

Around ten minutes later, a man with brown pin stripe suit and a white lab coat walked into the room.

Ivan looked at him. "I presume you are Dr. Tennant?" He asked

The man, Dr. Tennant, nodded. "Yep! Now follow me." He said in an unmistakeable Scottish accent and walked into a room. You and Ivan followed close behind.

After the tests were done, you were free to go. Ivan led you outside to his car. Once you saw the car, you slid into the passenger's side. Once you both were in the car, Ivan looked at you. "I hope you don't mind staying at my house." He said

"Believe me, I don't mind.." You said as you moved a piece of (h/c) hair out of your face.

He smiled. "Good.." He said and drove to his house.

You started to drift off. Before you finally fell asleep, you heard Ivan whisper.


"I'll keep you safe." was what he had whispered.
